Prisoner Reentry Initiative

If you have a criminal record with non violent offenses and have been released within the last six months we can help you with your transition back into society.

Span and The Work Place have collaborated in providing one on one case management, career counseling, and job development assistance.

You will receive the following services at The Work Place:

  • Understanding your C.O.R.I report
  • Learning how to job search with a criminal record
  • Help with developing a resume and cover letter that best markets your skills
  • Instruct you on how to handle your legal issues in an interview
  • Assistance with vocational development
  • Availability to all of the services provided at the One Stop Career Center
  • Onsite employer recruitment sessions
  • Employment referrals to C.O.R.I friendly employer
